To be eligible for the James Dodge Memorial Scholarship the applicant must:

Funds must be used for post high school academic work. Please contact the scholarship committee if you will be attending any other academic institute besides a state college or university. We will support other academic or professional training, but will need verification of acceptance.

• The most important qualifications for this award are that the athlete exhibits integrity, a strong work ethic, an independent spirit, and commitment that James exemplified. Three letters of recommendation are required that will help acknowledge your qualifications.
• Be a senior in high school and a baseball player.
• Applicants may be required to interview with the scholarship committee either by phone or in person.
